Key Features

• Portulaca (moss rose) seeds, 10 gram packet
• Sealed kraft paper packet that protects the seeds
• Small, colourful blooms that open in sunshine
• Low-growing, spreading plants with succulent-like leaves
• Loves heat, full sun and well-draining soil
• Grows well in pots, hanging baskets and rock gardens
• Easy to grow and does not need heavy watering

Product Highlights

Portulaca is a good friend for sunny, warm spots where other flowers struggle. Its thick, succulent-like leaves hold water, so it does not like too much watering. Sow the seeds on top of loose, well-draining soil, press them gently and keep the soil lightly moist until they sprout. Soon the plants spread out and fill the pot with bright flowers. It looks lovely in hanging baskets, shallow pots and balcony planters. Because it is easy and low-fuss, it suits busy gardeners and beginners. A 10 gram packet gives you plenty of seeds for many containers.
