Product Highlights

The Insulin plant has a tidy, upright look, with leaves that twist around the stem in a spiral pattern. The undersides of the leaves often show a soft purple tint, which adds interest. It likes steady moisture, and the self-watering pot helps you give that without overdoing it. In the right season it can produce bright orange-red flower heads that stand out against the green leaves. It adds lush, tropical character to a plain corner and grows happily in a shaded balcony or garden bed too. Keep it out of harsh afternoon sun, feed it lightly in the growing season and it will keep growing fresh leaves.
