How to Sow Seeds

  • Break the coriander seeds and sow them 1/4 inch deep under the soil.
  • If you are growing in pots, choose a medium size container, fill it with potting mix, and sow the seeds.
  • Keep the seeds around 3-4 inches apart.

Seed Care

  • Water the seeds regularly to keep the soil moist.

How to Care for Coriander

Sunlight: Choose a location, where the coriander plants receive five-six hours of full sunlight. If you are growing dhaniya in pots, place them in your apartment balcony.

Watering: Water the plants at regular intervals to keep the soil moist. Make sure not to water the foliage of coriander plants as it can cause diseases.

Soil: Fertile soil is ideal for growing coriander at home. You can mix gobar ki khad to improve fertility.

Fertilizer: Fertilize every month with an organic fertilizer.

Harvesting: You can harvest the coriander just after 30-40 days of sowing the seeds. Reap by cutting the mature leaves with the help of a scissor.
